The AAO and the Council on New and Younger Members (CONYM) are thrilled to announce the inaugural New Orthodontist Seminar, taking place Thursday, April 30, in Orlando, immediately prior to Annual Session.

New Ortho Seminar

Step into your early-career orthodontic era with a high-energy day designed for orthodontists 1–5 years post-residency. Build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and learn practical tips for managing the “people” side of practice without having to learn everything the hard way. You’ll kick off with Amber Auger, RDH, on building teams that thrive through communication, motivators, accountability, and culture, followed by a keynote from psychologist Dr. Lisette Sanchez on reframing self-doubt and showing up with confidence as a new doctor. Add in sponsor activation time, connection with other early-career orthodontists, and a closing panel of orthodontists tying it all together—this is the kind of day that leaves you feeling energized, supported, and ready to lead.
