How to be 2.5x more Successful: Networking as a Woman
Based on research showing that men need one type of network to succeed in business, but women need TWO, in this session Kathryn will break down network dynamics, explain the various roles within one’s network, and teach participants how to create a network that sets them up for success. This session will run 60 minutes and include a participant activity (network mapping) and time for Q&A. Participants will gain practical, research-based strategies they can immediately implement and understand the research behind why coming to events like this one hosted by AAO advances their career.
Meet the Speaker
Kathryn Valentine
Kathryn is the CEO of Worthmore Strategies, where she leverages research to help organizations develop talent. A top-rated speaker, her clients include companies like JP Morgan, KPMG, and Bain, and her work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company. Kathryn started her career at McKinsey & Company, where she became one of their youngest industry advisors. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two sons, who put her leadership skills to the test every day.
